Consumer Information

Safe Ship Moving Consumer Resources & Information Center

Independent information and resources for consumers. We identify selected public records, link to third-party consumer-report sources, and provide general guides for researching a mover or filing a complaint.

Important context: MoverWatch is independently operated and is not affiliated with Safe Ship Moving Services or Vellar Holdings LLC. This site identifies public records and links to third-party consumer-report sources; it does not determine whether any company or person violated the law, and nothing here should be read as a finding of wrongdoing. Information may change — verify anything important through the linked primary sources. To request a correction or submit responsive documentation, contact admin@moverwatchreports.com. Companies and individuals named here may submit corrections, responsive documentation, or a response for review. MoverWatch may publish or link to an appropriate response; submission does not guarantee publication.

Third-Party Consumer Complaint Source

The Better Business Bureau maintains a profile for Safe Ship Moving Services LLC that may include consumer complaints and company responses. MoverWatch does not reproduce, rank, or systematically aggregate the text of those BBB complaints here. Complaint allegations are the statements of the individual complainants, not findings by MoverWatch, and the company's responses should be reviewed alongside them.

Review the BBB source directly

Because third-party complaint pages can change, be corrected, or be removed under the platform's own policies, use the source page for current complaint text, dates, status information, and company responses.

Company Information From Public Records

The cards below describe what different public records list. A federal trade name/DBA, a state corporate entity, a manager, a registered agent, and an ownership or parent-subsidiary relationship are different legal concepts; MoverWatch does not treat them as interchangeable. Records may change, so confirm current information with the source agency.

Filing a complaint and gathering evidence

Filing Guide

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration

A complaint submitted through the FMCSA consumer complaint system is provided to the federal agency responsible for oversight of interstate movers and brokers. It is one official channel for reporting concerns about an interstate move; filing does not establish that a violation occurred.

Required information:
  • USDOT number of the company
  • Origin and destination addresses
  • A description of the issue and the relevant contract terms

Better Business Bureau

The BBB is not a government agency or regulator. A complaint submitted through BBB creates a complaint record in BBB's system, and some complaint information may be publicly displayed under BBB's own policies. BBB also operates Scam Tracker for reports of suspected scams.

State Attorney General

State Attorney General offices commonly accept consumer complaints and may investigate or enforce state consumer-protection laws within their authority. Procedures and jurisdiction vary by state.
